Barry’s focus is on property loss control, fire protection, business continuity planning and natural hazard preparedness and protection best practices. He has a broad range of experience including, but not limited to, manufacturing, real estate, pulp & paper, forestry and wood products, large municipalities, healthcare, automotive and aircraft manufacturing, retail, warehouse and distribution, textiles, plastic products, beverage and food products, metal working and electronic data processing.
Barry’s background in risk management, underwriting and account executive roles makes him a valuable and well-rounded client advocate. With considerable experience in the field, he effectively led property and casualty risk engineering and claims teams. His prior experience was gained in these roles at large international insurance carriers and brokers -FM Global, AIG, Aon & Marsh.
Barry possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration. He has a Professional Engineering license in fire protection, Certified Safety Professional designation and Six Sigma Certification.
